ABOUT US   two founders · Warsaw & San Francisco

The two founders
behind a boutique SEO agency.

A Stanford GSB MBA who built early go-to-market at OpenGov, and a psychometrics PhD with 16+ years in stats and data science. We run every engagement ourselves.

We took our own startup, Gyfted, to 1.2M organic users a year on 27%+ site-wide conversion and $7k of backlinks. Now we do the same work for a few startups at a time.

origin story

Why we started SEO Savages

We are founders first. For Gyfted, our own startup, we hired an SEO agency. We fired it and ran SEO ourselves.

Google clicks went from 230 a month in January 2022 to 126,824 in January 2024: programmatic pages plus free, ungated tests that answered the search, on $7k of backlinks in total.

SEO Savages sells that approach to other startups: senior people who own the plan, work inside your team and tell you straight what will move the needle. We keep the roster small so we can keep doing the work ourselves.

how we work

A senior team member, in your Slack

The founders do the work

The two of us run strategy and execution on every engagement. There are no account managers and no juniors between you and the people doing the work.

Max six clients at a time

We cap the roster so each client gets real attention from both founders.

One client per sector per market

We never work for your direct competitor in the same market.

Inside your team

Weekly or bi-weekly meetings, and Slack, WhatsApp or Telegram in between. We flag problems before they show up in your numbers.

Priorities over checklists

We pick the few things that will move the needle over 3-6 months and skip the rest for now.

From $3,500/mo

$3,500/mo (3-month minimum) or $6,000/mo (4-month minimum). Off-page (backlink) work is agreed with you on both tiers; any link-building spend is on top of the fee.

Both tiers, scope and onboarding: our fractional SEO service.

method

We test the metrics before we trust them

Blazej’s field is measurement: whether a score measures what people use it to decide. We apply the same test to SEO tools and publish the results in the Savage Lab.

Example: we checked Ahrefs Keyword Difficulty against 241 ranking pages across 30 keywords. It tracks the links of ranking pages closely (ρ = .91) and the authority of the sites that rank far less (ρ = .36). That gap decides which keywords a young site can win, and it shapes the plan we hand you.
